The University of Ulster is home to 25,000 local, national and international students, spread over four campuses in Belfast, Coleraine, Jordanstown and Magee (Derry). A fifth, Campus One, is a fully online e-learning service. Sport is big at Ulster – its vision is to establish itself as the leading university for sport in Ireland. The Sports Institute Northern Ireland resides at the Jordanstown campus, which is also home to the Ulster Sports Academy, a major indoor sport and recreation facility, that opened in 2008.

Bursaries
If your household income is below £18,360, you will receive £1,070 a year. Between £18,821 and £21,525, you will receive £640. Between £21,526 and £40,238, you will receive £320. See prospectus.ulster.ac.uk/geninfo/uu-bursaries.html
Accommodation
Guaranteed for eligible first-years. Weekly prices range from about £50 to £100.
Facilities
State-of-the-art libraries at all four campuses. Expect lovely aromas floating around the Belfast campus as it is home to the Academy training restaurant. It also hosts the Ulster festival of art and design, which was launched in 2008. The Coleraine campus boasts the Riverside theatre, the third largest professional theatre in Northern Ireland. And the Magee campus is home to the centre for the creative and performing arts.
Transport
Excellent road and rail connections between the campuses. There are three airports in Northern Ireland, all under an hour away from most British and Irish cities. Plenty of international flights too. If you're in the car, daily ferry services run between Scotland and England to Lame and Belfast.
