Market Development and Operation:
Marketing & Operation Assistant
Answering queries and preparing proposals (International project plan, tour itineraries, contract, report etc.) for clients;
Making promotional leaflets and marketing via network, telephone, internet etc.
Liaising with loyal clients, partners such as golf clubs, hotel chains while developing new customers and partners.
Completing all schedules in each tour or project (e.g. welcome letter, booking confirmation, allocation of vehicle and tour guides).
Supervising tour guides, drivers and business representatives.
Sales Executive
Driving sales of shop products by communicating and listening to customers and ensuring that they receive the highest standards of customer service:
Matching the customers’ needs to the right product
Providing excellent customer service
Taking customer payments in cash or via cards, doing cash up
Dealing with new deliveries and organising stock room
Tour Guide
To undertake regular tours and inform customers of the history and interesting facts relating to sights in the itinerary as well as general UK’s culture.
To ensure that the tours cover all the necessary aspects and areas in the itinerary
To carry out the tour in accordance with the Company’s procedures using the script provided as a guideline and answering questions in line with Company policy.
To play a role in the active promotion of UUCL holiday and events business and its various facilities
Organization support:
Travel: arrangements as well as business preparation with Marketing Director
Calendar management
Cover during Marketing Director absence
Other tasks relevant to business needs

Person Requirement:
Dependable, punctual, organized and high attention to detail
Computer proficiency, including email, Microsoft office, internet etc.
Fluent English and Chinese both oral and written are essential.
Although work experience is not essential, a fast learner with business sensitivity and hardworking attitude is desirable.
Excellent communication skill and interest in tourism is a plus
Employment process :
Candidates without relevant experience will start as Intern (1 month), 5 days a week full time or Flexible part time. Edinburgh transport fee and £5 lunch fee will be covered by UUCL, plus 10% commission.
Outstanding Intern will be offered as Apprentice (5 months), 5 days a week full time or Flexible part time. Salary is based on National Apprentice salary, plus 10% commission.
Based on Apprentice’s skills, outstanding Apprentice will be offered as full time Marketing & Operation Assistant / Sales Executive / Tour Guide (Tier 2 working VISA available as required)
